Affinda allow a parent-child account structure so that many child accounts can be created from within the single parent account structure. This structure has been created to allow technology platforms to offer different settings and solutions to their own customers using the Affinda platform.
Creation of accounts
All accountscreated using our web app will automatically be parent accounts. Parent accounts can then create child accounts using our account management API. These child accounts will inherit the settings of the parent at creation, but settings at the the child account level can then be changed after this.
For example. customers of an accounts payable platform may all have different fields that they wish to view and validate within the validation interface. A child account can be created per customer, and settings updated within these child accounts to reflect which fields are relevant to each customer.
For more information about what customisations are possible, view Customisations.
Credits are managed at a parent account level. Any credits used by child accounts will impact the number of credits available to the parent account and all of the child accounts that sit under the parent.
